My friends and I went to Peel Pub after the Canada Day parade. We were tired and hungry and wanted some good basic grub. There weren't many people there and we were happy to get a table for four. One of my friends ordered the...$12 hot dog plate. When it arrived, they were the sorriest looking hot dogs I had ever seen. They tried to cover it up with the dressing but we could see the hot dogs were gray! The poutine was even worse! The fries looked half cooked with a blob of thick gravy and a sprinkle of white stuff that passed for cheese. My other friends had pizza they described as tasteless and I had a hamburger that was dry and tasteless even with tomato and lettuce on it. We used to enjoy going there but now, sadly, we don't want to go back. Nobody got sick from their meal, but we got lucky. Clearly they have to make changes in their kitchen and soon.
