After arriving in Quebec we checked into our Hotel, The Nomandin and was directed to their restaurant nearby. Not speaking French we were not sure what to expect. THis was our first trip to Canada. We arrived at the door and was greeted by a...charming host. He welcomed us in French and I said we speak English. He grabbed the English Version of the menu and seated us near the bar. I had the soup of the day a delightful tomato Basil and a club sandwich. My husband had a chef salad with chicken. THe food was hot and delicious. We enjoyed the ambience and the chatter around us. The staff were charming and efficient. We returned the next morning for breakfast where we were taken by the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere on the cafe side. I had the French Breakfast which was excellent and my husband had his bacon and eggs. If in St Annes, I recommend you stop in and enjoy a meal fit for a king.
