We enjoyed this little Korean restaurant at the edge of Gastown. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu was inviting with traditional rice bowls etc. Mandu as an appetizer was delicious and savoury. Eight pieces was just right. In other Asian fare, we would call...these dumplings! The seaweed salad was fresh but was overdressed with a sauce that was at the same time, slightly too sweet and 'vinegary'. I ordered the Spicy Tofu Stew with added seafood and egg. It was very hearty, the seafood fresh but not in great abundance. I loved the just-right spicy broth. The rest of the table enjoyed the Bi-Bim-Bap stone bowls with hearty vegetables, egg yolk and choice of meat. The consensus was that they were light on the amount of meat, but flavours were great and the sauces savory. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.
