We had stopped by the bar for a drink on Wednesday night and loved the atmosphere and especially the people working there. We came back on Thursday for dinner and had the best meal of our visit. We started with Oysters Rockefeller which were terrific...and then both had the Salmon with sea beans (a new experience and fantastic). Being from Seattle, we normally pass on Atlantic Salmon because it is farm raised and/or is previously frozen. This was ocean caught, fresh and terrific - done just right. The wine was good and reasonable and then we ended with Vieux Carre drinks afterwards - the best! The location is excellent and the atmosphere perfect but the best part of the experience was our interaction with Fred (he should have a more exotic name) our waiter, host and culinary guide for the evening - gracious, friendly and knowledgeable. We could not have asked for a better experience.
