Soondae is a traditional Korean sausage made from blood with noodles and other bits. The taste of the blood is not too strong and it is nicely balanced. In fact, many people eat it by dipping it in salt and pepper. This restaurant location was...where Momo sushi was upstairs in the funny atrium of the Robson Street market. So, it's not a full restaurant. There is a Thai, Japanese noodles and another food vendor up stairs. The seating is communal. The blood sausage is the main thing here but you can also get other dishes, once again, not your typical Korean BBQ stuff. My wife doesn't like the blood sausage so she got the pork neck bone soup. Very flavorful soup with the neck bones full of meat, sinew and other goodness. I got the Soondae stew, which also includes a bunch of tripe and other organ parts. The sausage is wrapped in intestines as well. Like I said, not for the faint of heart. This is definitely an Anthony Bourdaine type of dish, it would make him proud to know you are eating it. Prices are very reasonable at $10 a dish. You have to pick up your food from the counter as well.
