My wife and I dined here on September 18. One rarely sees a more innovative and well conceived menu. For starters, I had the giant raviolo, whose stuffing was a runny egg, cheese and herbs in a butter sauce. My wife had a cheddar cheese...tartelette. Main plates were the fish of the day, grilled halibut, and a roasted eggplant casserole cooked in the eggplant skin, followed by what could only be called an artisanal ice cream sandwich and the house dacquoise. The wait staff was excellent, although they tended to hover around, making sure--almost insistently--that we were enjoying the food, which we were. This was our first evening in Quebec after a very draining flight from the States, so I am not sure we were completely up to the level of discernment that the selections deserved. Still, everything was outstanding; wine selection was very good; atmosphere was casual and friendly; good cocktails. We would definitely return, but probably a day or two into our next visit. The tab was a pricey.
