I am Japanese, and I won’t call these ramen. The yellow color and earthy fragrance of traditional ramen noodles comes from alkalinized water (known as kansui in Japan). Menbou doesn’t use the real ramen noodles, they just substitute with cheap stuff. Broth is also very...weird, not at all ‘tonkotsu’. It has very strange thickener, and has no flavour. Real Japanese ramen never taste like these. I was very disappointed . The food left strange aftertaste in my mouth.
