I was at the same table as my friend who shared this advice and I completely agree with him: "The paella with a small ordinary appetizer cost $37.95. We thought it would be a plate for two. We were served 8 mussels and 2 shrimp...on a bed of tomato-coloured insipid rice in an ordinary 8" plate. The same rice was served in all 4 plates. The other Table d’Hôte were more or less $27. The grilled chicken was not much more than a chicken wing. We left hungry & $250 poorer. My cell phone fell from my pocket. I called the owner that day and the next to ask him to look around. He said it wasn’t there. He couldn’t be bothered. I went back, moved a chair & there it was. The cook is the owner. He has no passion for cooking and no interest to satisfy his customer. To him, it’s a scam to pocket money."More
