I lived in Toronto for ten years, but that was 20 years ago and they had some fantastic bagels there. I was visiting Vancouver and wanted to try a real bagel as these things are simply unavailable at least where I come from in Perth....I stumbled across Rosemary Rocksalt by accident when I was talking along Commercial Drive and stepped into get a salmon and cream cheese bagel. It turned out to be not that great, unfortunately. The bagel was rather small and dry by the time it was toasted. I tried to like it, but I can only give it 3/5. The restaurant itself was nice and plenty of places to sit. But then again, I should have known from the very few customers that perhaps this isn't the best place for a bagel.
