I have spent a great deal of summer vacation in Brittany when I was a child and a teenager. I have had the extreme privilege to taste the "Galettes" made by elderly women back in the day. These long gone ladies were carrying the tradition...of proper made "Galettes". I am taklking about the late 70's and early 80's when you still could encounter people rooted in those traditions. I am half Breton by heritage, and I am very picky when it comes to Buckwheat or Wheat Galettes. This place has it, it is as close to the real deal you will ever get in this part of the world.
