We (a family of four with two elementary school aged kids) stopped here (with all of our luggage!) for a late lunch today before taking a train to the US. Everyone who worked here was so helpful and kind to us, taking great care to...ensure that our children's meals were prepared exactly as they liked, and checking in frequently to make sure we had what we needed and were enjoying our meals. They make everything from scratch here, even hand slicing local potatoes for their fries, and it's evident in the freshness and taste of the food. Our meals were delicious and I'm sorry that we were just passing through and won't be able to easily come back. We had a burger, the Korean rice bowl and the poutine and I would recommend all of them. When we left (with our leftovers to eat later on the train) the owner even tossed in a couple of muffins - so sweet of her! We'll absolutely go back the next time we're in Vancouver and definitely recommend it to others.
