Won 2 gift certificates from a wedding social over a year ago. No expiration dates. We don’t live in the area, so waited to use until it was convenient to use them. Went there for lunch with my daughter and mother in-law, and ordered take...out for my husband. At the end I handed the waitress my gift certificates and she said “ok”. Went up to pay and the certificate amounts were not off the bill. Asked about it and they said they could not honor them as they were from the previous owners. I argued for about 20 minutes with the head chef, who was arguing in Japanese to the waitress who was translating to me. They still refused to honor my gift cards. IN the end, they had the nerve to hand me a “10 % off our next visit” card. I was fuming mad, grabbed my take out food and left. Got all the way home across winnipeg, my husband opened his take out and it wasn’t even what I had ordered!!!!! My husband called them, the waiter refused to share his name, and after 20 minutes on the phone they still refused to do anything to rectify. Absolutely worst service I have ever experienced in a winnipeg restaurant, will not return, and highly recommend others not waste their money or timeMore
