Our favourite Japanese restaurant has been recently closed so we called Nishiki. We had had their food delivered once before several years ago and it was cold. I called them but they said "sorry" and that was it. I thought we'd give them a 2nd...chance - shouldn't have!! We waited over an hour so I called and they said it was on the way. We are approx. 5 blocks away and I asked to confirm that the two hot items we'd ordered would still be hot. She said "yes". The food was delivered about 5 minutes later and I asked the woman if our items were hot and she also said "yes". Looking back, I should have opened the bag to check for myself but we were hungry and I thought I could believe them. Well, the two cooked items, prawn tempura and chicken garage were cold. The chicken was overcooked and extremely dry. I called them right away and the woman said "sorry, we're busy" I asked to speak to her Manager and she said "call Helen". I figured what would the point of that be so hopefully they'll read this and work on their customer service. I for one, won't be calling them any time soon! PS - I make most of our Japanese food so only had to order 5 items - the other 3 were fine.
