I used to go to Bon's regularly about 30 years ago. Breakfast was good and cheap, and the decor was decent with old movie posters and framed photos of personalities on the wall. Not any more. The place has turned into a rundown pile of...crap. The $2.95 breakfast...No more choice of meats. Just a piece of sandwich ham. The fried potatoes were just the skins they cut off to make french fries with the rest. And burnt to crap. All I could taste was char. You can't even get white toast. Not an option at $2.95. The decor...Every surface in the restaurant (including the washrooms) is tagged with the most godawful graffiti. It looks filthy. The single washroom stall door is broken You have to hold it closed with one hand while doing your business. The bill...$6 for a $2.95 breakfast and a coffee. $3.05 for a coffee? They must have seen me coming. Bloody coffee costs more than the breakfast. Thank god I didn't get the offered refill. I might have had to take out a second mortgage. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. You'll thank me later.
