I went to early dinner at the River Cafe on August 15, 2021. I have been there before and the food and service had been good. All three of us order Halibut for lunch. The halibut arrived and it tasted really bad - I think...the fish had gone off, but they cooked it and served it to us anyway. It was a special occasiion and none of us really wanted to ruin the day by making a fuss about it, but wow $45 for halibut that was not fresh or tasty is unacceptable. I think the server should have suggested a different dish by saying "I think the salmon is fresh" or something like that.
