My neighbour and I decided to come here and relax and chat and eat this afternoon. Firstly, the woman at the front desk only looked at our vaccine cards, she didn't electronically record it, which by Manitoba law all restaurants are required to do. She...told us our server is Nicole and she'll be here shortly. Great! We hadn't even opened the menus when Nicole came over and said "we have a table of 15 and if you don't give me your order immediately you won't be served for over an hour". She was abrupt and rude, no smile, no welcome to Montana's, nothing. My neighbour asked her if she was the server for the 15 and she said "no, but the cook will be overwhelmed. The 15 will come before anyone else". Well, my neighbour and I just looked at each other and asked "do you want to leave"? Yep. So we got up and left. We did mention this to the woman at the front desk (that broke a Provincial Law) what had happened, but if she is blatantly breaking laws - does she care? I don't know if this is a case of poor or no training or what. But I will definitely not be back to this restaurant.
