My wife and I decided to spend three nights at the hotel where this restaurant is located to celebrate being fully vaccinated as well as the reopening after a lockdown of ~four months. The service was spotty and I am willing to bet that the...kitchen was not fully strafed, but most important, the chef was there and the food was worth waiting for as it was excellent. The maître d, Mr. Gontran Giguere, was very sympathetic and deserves a special mention. He understood immediately why my wife was a little anxious and rectified the problem with understanding and great diplomacy.
