The beef and sweet potatoes with mushrooms in coconut milk was fantastic. The sauce was divine and the slow cooked beef was melt in my mouth yummy. The Flinstones type pork was delicious but one step away from being overcooked. Some meat was dry as...a result but the crispy fat was a treat. However, the eggplant salad and "shrimp dish" were disappointing. The eggplant had dissolved (overcooked) and the salad consisted of just a bunch of vinegary onions with slimy eggplant mush. It did not taste good. The shrimp dish for $16.99 had THREE shrimps in it. And they weren't large shrimps, either. If something is being called a shrimp dish it should have more than 3 shrimps in it! Not even enough for two people to split properly! Ridiculous! And the okra in the dish was woody along with there being big balls of some hard spice (pepper?) that I was not interested in chewing so had to spit them out with each bite. Not pleasant. Service was mediocre. Everything came at once after waiting well over half an hour. We were asked if everything was okay at the very end of our meal. And it was asked on the fly- feet didn't even stop at our table as she asked. If she had stopped and actually looked she would have seen an uneaten salad and a half eaten "shrimp" dish. If I ever go back I will only re-order the beef in coconut milk as it was was absolutely awesome. But one out of four dishes were awesome. I like all my dishes to be awesome! I feel I'm being generous giving a three star review. But the beef dish saved you!More
