We love Schooners and have been going to our neighborhood pub for over 10 years. Always good service and food. HOWEVER, in the last couple of years, we have had 3 sets of our friends decline coming with us because of the volume they keep...the games and music at. Due to Covid we haven’t been able to go much, but tonight we went out to feel “normal” again and spend time at the pub we love. The hockey game was on so loud, we couldn’t even hear each other. We came home with hoarse throats and ringing ears. We asked to please have it turned down 2 times and the volume just kept creeping up again louder than before. It’s unenjoyable, stressful, and disappointing to attend. I would think that having to yell so your seat mates can hear you, is not great health standards during Covid. We sure wish they would turn down the volume so we can continue to support and enjoy coming. Please lower the volume Schooners. ❤️More
