This gem is special. I love that there is a casual relaxed atmosphere for such an exceptional place. The food, lighting, service rivals all my favourite spots in the city but without being pretentious, but with all the knowledge and enthusiasm. The natural wines being...offered is some of the best in the city. (We had spanish bubbles, we had orange wine, we had white, we had red...all were bangers) The food is fresh, creative, healthy, farm to table, thoughtful and therefore magical. Lindsay is a talented, warm and charming narrator to the experience. In fact, many staff came by at different points in the meal and each could explain any and all questions. Highlights: Live scallops and clam ceviche (This can't be explained, Umami?, IDK, just eat it... I know the next time I'm there I will be ordering more than one for myself), Burrata and anchovy with bread, Lamb tartare (Honestly maybe THE best tartare I've had ever... like better than Paris, better than London...), Linguini with truffle, Smoked Quail, the Woodruff ice cream was just the smoothest, most delicate, delicious bite. I will add photos. I left that night... literally... I slowed clapped my way out and let the staff know that all their Mothers are very proud.
