Had the extended sushi omakase (16 pieces + appetizer, miso & dessert) tonight and it was really fantastic. The three types of tuna nigiri were especially great, tasty, fatty, delicious. I also really enjoyed the unagi nigiri and and for the first time in my...life, the tamago.... it was very delicate, a little custardy and quite sweet. The nigiri pieces were all well balanced among the rice, fish, wasabi, and whatever topping was used. None of the flavours overpowered the others. I'm not a fan of mackerel or uni so my boyfriend ate my pieces. He said they were all very good. The service was very good - everyone was very attentive and very sweet. It was a pleasure being there. We sat at the counter and it was very enjoyable to get lost in watching the chef work. The jazz playing in the background and the gentle hum from the other tables made the ambience really relaxing. We will definitely go again.
