Yesterday I met some friends and their relatives at the “Koon Bo Seafood Restaurant” in Vancouver at Fraser St. and 41st St. Since I didn’t know so much about the food I let they choose what to eat. We ordered Shredded Chicken Salad, Fish Soup...with the fish (Ling Cod) also separately served with vegetables, BBQ Duck, BBQ Pigeons, Ginger & Onion Pan-fried Crab with noodle, Garlic Snow-Pea tips and, as desserts, Baked Tapioca Pudding and Mixed Bean Soup. All serving sizes were quite large. My favourite was clearly the Shredded Chicken Salad, something that I didn’t eat somewhere else. Also all other items were good (except the pigeons which were pretty firm). I liked also the Baked Tapioca Pudding with its rich, buttery taste. It’s certainly not a mistake to visit that place. 3.5 out of 5More
