Situated in a strip mall about 30 minutes from downtown Toronto, Hutaoli is the only location in North America that we know of....so we though to check it out. One of the appeals was the live music content, even though it was nearly all in...Chinese. We enjoyed the performers and wish we could have stayed for more but the service was so rushed we only got to hear one full performers set and two songs of the second performer. The breaded and fried eggplant was done well with just the right amount of heat, the signature chicken in a cage dish had a wonderful presentation but under-delivered in taste. I loved the sliced pork with sauce and the house potato chips were nice and spicy. When you dine be sure to order rice or noodles since they don't come automatically with your entree's. Overall it was good, would have been better if we had a bit more time to eat each course before the next arrived and certainly a place that you should go to with a group for the most fun.
