Smuggler's is a typical old school steak house with outdated decor and mediocre food. We went with a group of 10 and the majority tried the prime rib as the reviews state it was the best in Calgary. I agree the cut of meat and oversized portions were decent but the sides are lacking. They have a salad bar and soup station that I enjoyed more than my entree. I am going against the grain on this one and still prefer The Guild steakhouse. I can dig old school charm but need flavour, step it up.
