Waiting to visit with family we opted into having lunch prior to arrival. We found a little diner on the main drag of Metcalfe. The name of the restaurant, the Main Bar & Grill, was a great choice. It had a cozy feel to it...and great food. I chose the Beef Donair Platter and it was very good. I must add, if you like french fries, they were the best here that I ever had. My husband picked the Hamburger Deluxe plate and was very pleased with his choice as well. He also commented on the fries... just so you know!More
