Went here for Le Burger week, so this review is based on their entry to this event. Location is in the Fairmont, so it’s a plus. However, because of the pandemic, the restaurant is closed, and only the lounge is opened. They do practice social...distancing so only a few tables are open and the lounge is small. So consider waiting in line. Waiting in line was confusing since there was no receptionist. So you actually have to wait in line, and someone will come and tell you “you may come in.” Otherwise, you’d be wondering because no one is at the door greeting people and letting them know that there is a wait or at least someone to take your names to put on a list. So that was really confusing and far least expected. The burger - buns were awesome, charred and crispy. The black angus was perfect, not too fatty, very lean, and tastes good. The “wagyu” wasn’t a real wagyu. It was like a portion if a steak with fat. It still tasted good though. The only thing is I thought the sauces didn’t compliment the meats. There was this peachy sauce in top of the bun, the mustard was amazing, and then there was some peanut-like sauce on the bottom bun. All flavours were so strong that it contradicted each other and didn’t really match with the meats. Overall, I still think it was good. Service was awesome, the servers are really nice. This burger came with mixed berry sweet tea for the price of the burger ($18), you can have fries or salad for an extra $5. I got the fries and they were so good!! Consider also that parking is scarce in this area. You may need to park on the street or in parkades nearby for a price. Street parking is free after 17:30.
