I have enjoyed JR Burgers on Royal Caribbean cruises, so very excited to check out our newer local venues. No question, it’s a great burger deal which includes bacon, cheese and fresh veggie options and a nice batch of fries...but is it good? Well...yes, it’s...good...but it could so easily be better! I’ve been there twice and tried 2 different beef burgers. My husband and friends are vegetarians and both times, they said their burger was good, but agreed with my observation. The buns MUST, MUST, MUST get well toasted! The service is prompt and friendly, drinks are self serve. Let’s keep this in perspective-it’s not a Michelin rated meal, but as far as fast food burgers go, it certainly beats McD’s, BK, Wendy’s etc. I will definitely go back again and will request that the bun be toasted. If they agree to do that, it will absolutely be a winner for top, quick, affordable, burger. The one thing they cannot fix though...parking is a real nuisance in the area, but it’s smack on a bus route!More
