We returned after a year or so for another family birthday dinner. We were greeted, protocols checked and seated at our table. The waitress was very good with the orders, but a bit slow with providing water throughout the evening. I had the Veal al...limone with vegetables. While the others received their meals pipping hot, mine had obviously sat waiting. The veal (if it was really veal) was tough and hard to cut with a knife, the lemon white wine sauce was a congealed gravy and the vegetables included three large chunks of raw carrots (again hard to cut with a knife and fork), a couple of thinly sliced potatoes pieces overly salted and very sweet red cabbage. The other veal dish ordered- parmagina- was also not tender. These were $30 dishes. It wasn't that crowded, but the poor woman was too busy to check back to see how our meals were. This is unacceptable. We are all trying hard to support the restaurant industry by returning, but if this is your new standard, then why should we?More
