Read in the Hamilton Spectator that the Galley Pump was offering breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Tried it first on a Sunday with my grown son, Next, also Sunday with my Husband. The food has always been good if not the atmosphere. To my surprise...It was newly painted, the tables also new and well spaced. If you have ever tried to have a comfortable conversation with your table mates at Sunday brunch and given up because of the surrounding noise, This is the place, The meal is very good and reasonable. The menu is limited but offers everything you could want from a breakfast. One choice is 3 eggs, bacon or sausage, home fries, and two slices white, whole wheat or rye toast for $5.99 coffee is 1.50 extra with free refill. Everything is cooked to perfection,nicely served and with a piece of fresh fruit on the side. On both but not last, trips, there were families, young and mature couples, and singles.
