Our first time eating here as we wanted to try the fried pork hock for so long. We ordered 2 pork hocks which came with delicious sauerkraut and very tasty pan friend potatoes along with a little gravy on the side. Our waitress was excellent...as we expressed that we wanted the pork rind/skin to be extra crispy so it came out just perfect for us. The skin was crispy but the meat inside was so so well seasoned and juicy. Each of the pork hock ($32 each) was huge ....both my husband and adult son wasn't able to finish it so we brought the left overs home. Next time, they will share one pork hock and order another entree to try. I ordered the Jagerschnitzel which also came hot and crispy ...2 large cutlets along with a side of melt in your mouth red cabbage and spatzel. The cutlet had a side of mushroom gravy which was delicious and rich tasting. I wasn't big on the spatzel so next time i will order a sausage along with sauerkraut, red cabbage, and potatoes as the sides were absolutely delicious. The boys shared a pitcher of Dunkel beer at $26 which yielded about 5 glasses and it was very yummy. Excellent meal all around with fantastic service and we will return for sure...the restaurant will be on holidays last 2 weeks of august and 1st week of September.
