We alway like to support Canadian coffee chains, and we do have coffees etc at Second Cups every once in a while. Their new decor scheme is bright, light and airy, but does come across as a bit cold and stark at times. The washroom...was nice and clean, plus I liked that they have a little shelf inside for you cell phone or coffee... who hasn't been stuck wondering what to do with a coffee? The staff at this location were happy and friendly, which has not been our experience at other Second Cups - not sure if the franchise stresses that kind of personable customer service. But I also had a muffin which was very delicious, and it seems they have ramped up the food side of the business.
