Wanted to go to the restaurant next door originally but it was closed and had to find something very quickly since we were with our toddler. Tripadvisor gave this restaurant 3.5 stars so I wasn’t expecting much and restaurant was 100% empty at 12:30 PM...during the week. Restaurant looks a bit sketchy. Nothing fancy at all. Staff hardly speaks English (at least our waitress) so we had a hard time trying to explain that our son didn’t want to eat their $8.95 combo but instead just wanted raw veggies. Anyway waitress finally said ok fine and then we got to select our bowls. One thing to note, all the meats are frozen and rolled up in a way that it takes some space in your bowl. So much space that you can hardly have more than 5/6 pieces of meat in your bowl which is kinda ridiculous. Same with noodles and the veggies. It takes some crazy space so you need to be very careful on what you put in your bowl. Was only able to add like 2 pieces of beef and 2 of pork + noodles + carrots and that’s it!!! BUT the combo is crazy cheap. You get a bowl of your choice + tiny bowl of rice and tiny bowl of soup so it’s a pretty good deal! Wasn’t full at all though so guessing a) didn’t have enough food (bowl is rather small) or b) noodles were not of the greatest quality so felt like I needed more Food was totally decent though but wouldn’t mind paying $12 for a larger bowl. I think it would totally be worth it. I don’t care about rice and soup to be honest so they can drop it. Btw restaurant is called Mongolian BB grill but went to some Mongolian grills in the US and it had NOTHING to do with this restaurant. It’s actually just frozen meat on a grill!!! Nothing fancy or fresh. Too bad.
