Very disappointed - the café was empty when we were there, perhaps 5-6 other guests. The menu is standard, what is available via the SAQ, no private import. As someone who travels frequently the selection was bland and limited - no SMWS or anything unique...to try. One of our selections we requested Loch Lomond 12, having not tried that before. Waitress serves Lagavulin 12. When we advise her this is not what was asked that it was Loch Lomond 12, she shrugs and does not offer to correct or replace and charges the full price of the Lagavulin anyhow despite her mistake! Never have I been to a restaurant or bar where the server makes an error and does not offer to correct it when they are advised. Can only say we will not be returning and suggest that others stay away - Pub de l’ile Noir or Ardbeg Lounge at Chez Alexandre are better options if you want a good dram in Montreal.
