First off I would like to say that I actually cannot say anything bad about the restaurant itself but in the same breath I won't be going back. We made a reservation on open table a month in advance. When we arrived our table was...ready and our host sat us immediately upon arrival. The cocktail menu was long and full of lots of cool drinks. Our waitress gave excellent recommendations and was very knowledgeable when we asked about the menu/drinks. I was a bit shocked to find out that the restaurant was tapas style and pizza. I guess shame on me for not checking the menu out. I can't say what I was expecting but I will say this to the head chef. You very obviously are great with food BUT I feel like the restaurant itself doesn't have an identity. I feel as though if you continue to be a tapas & pizza restaurant it would be ideal if it was listed some where other than on the menu (like the sign outside or at least on the door). I guess we all thought this restaurant would be some where along the lines of finer dinning but the one thing that stuck out was the $75 The Big Poppa which is just a pep pizza or the Rodeo Drive $100 (caviar, cream fresh, gold leaf) pizza which is crazy price to pay for pizza. SO technically it's fine dinning for pep pizza?!?!?. Long and the short is, if there was more dinner selections other than pizza I would definitely come back. I am just old school in the fact that if I want pizza I will go to an Italian restaurant.
