We found this place after trying a different pub that could not feed us as the chef was off sick!
We found this place after trying a different pub that could not feed us as the chef was off sick! We're glad we stopped in. Our server, Jo, was super friendly and brought condiments before we needed them - always a good sign! I tried...Boxty - an Irish dish with which I was unfamiliar. Glad I did - it was delicious! A creamy chicken and mushroom filling surrounded by a tender potato pancake. I guess you could call it an Irish crepe! Hubby had the smoked meat sandwich and son had wings and fries. All decent pub food. Not sure what to make of the many lobster traps used as decor, nor the antique sewing machine....
