Due to the small size, you may have to wait depending on when you arrive. We entered an almost empty restaurant at 5:00pm on a Saturday. Within 45 minutes it was full with a lineup. The setting is kind of an informal sit down, meaning...table service in a small and almost fast food setting. I had the brisket meal ($20) which was loaded with smoked, pull apart barbecued meat slices. Excellent value. My fellow diner had the ribs ($24) which, while hefty, weren’t quite as pull apart as she would have liked and expected. The side dishes of potato salad and beans were good although the beans are a tad more watery than others I have enjoyed in BBQ places. Based on what we saw others order, the meals are the largest offerings while the sandwiches (the pulled pork looked particularly good) are smaller and more basic meals. Would recommend if you enjoy or want to try some barbecue food in a non-traditional BBQ city. We will visit again.
