Three years ago I visited this restaurant (a year before Covid started) and had a great experience. True confession regarding today's visit ... we had reservations for a different restaurant and when we were a few blocks away, we got a call that there was...a fire above them. So we had four people in a car, a birthday to celebrate, "h-anger" setting in and no reservations. Called a few places with no luck. We got into Radius, which i was grateful for. It's a great space with pleasant service & flavourful cocktails.... but the food was mediocre today. I actually had the same thing that I LOVED three years ago and it was disappointing. So in summary ... it is a lovely space. The service is good. The food today was mediocre. Maybe we got unlucky, but with so many choices in downtown Hamilton I will choose differently next time (and hope for no fire alarms on King William ....).
