My husband and I went to Tien Tuyen for supper this evening. I had been there before for Pho and it was quite good the last time we were there. Tonight we ordered Pho and Curried Coconut Shrimp and vegetables. The Pho was mediocre at...best, and The Curried Coconut Shrimp and vegetables was a plateful of almost all lighty sauted huge chunks of onions with a few shrimp and a couple of pieces of celery and carrot. This dish was also very very spicy. It was by far the spiciest Curry I've ever been served anywhere. It was absolutely terrible. We ate a little of it as we were both very hungry, but it was just awful. When I pointed this out to our waitress, she pretty much told us that it was our problem. I said that no one could eat a plate of onions bathed in screaming hot curry, but she was indifferent. We paid for our dinner and left. Now we know why the place was dead empty at 6 PM on a Friday night. We won't be back.
