All restaurants in Montreal are closed during the Covid - 19 crisis, except if they offer take out or delivery service. A former colleague told me that her daughter-in-law brought her 2 meals from Pastaga as they now offer take out service. She said the...food was outstanding. My partner and I decided to give it a try as we are trying to help local businesses during this crisis. We placed our order the morning of April 23, 2020 with a 4 p.m. pick-up. (They do not deliver.) We ordered the lasagna dish plus a fish dish (halibut) from the Gaspé region of Quebec. In addition, we ordered chili for 2 people, which we will save for another evening. The pick-up went smoothly. We were pleased to see that the physical distancing protocol of 2 metres between people (approximately 6 feet) was being respected. The lasagna was excellent. A huge portion. There is enough left for lunch for today!! My partner loved the fish dish and the fish was very fresh. We are looking forward to having the chili dish this evening. It is a very generous portion. When this crisis is over, we are looking forward to going to this restaurant and having a sit down meal in their dining room!More
