This place is in my neighbourhood and I'm glad it is. It's very modern, cozy and unique, and the baked goods are generally very good. We sometimes pick up a loaf of bread or baguette for dinner, and it is always amazing. For me, the...pastries, toasts and other lunch items have been somewhat hit or miss, but overall fresh and high quality. And everything looks beautiful. On the downside, I don't consider myself to be particularly frugal, but I find the prices steep for what you get - a latte and pastry for me with a cookie and drink for my son is close to $30. If it wasn't so overpriced, I would stop in more regularly. The staff and service are also only OK. I get that with COVID things aren't as efficient anywhere as they might otherwise be, but I've had to stand on the street for more than 20 minutes waiting for a latte several times, and the long waits here were a thing even before COVID. The staff are fine - not rude, but not especially friendly or helpful either.
