I have been dining sporadically at Mezcal since day 1, I cannot believe I haven't done a review on here. It's my go-to on "the Drive" when I feel like some tacos or melted cheese. It's a cozy, stylish joint. Happy hour is great if...you get a chance. My most recent visit was with some work colleagues. We made a reservation because there 6 of us. We were seated by the window which is almost floor to ceiling, great for watching all the street action. I believe the Queso Fundido is a rite of passage for your first visit ? It's cheese fondue served in a mini stone dish, be careful, dish is hot hot hot. My fave though is their Baja tacos, but seriously people, there is much more than classic tacos. They are also known for ceviche, cocktails & Mezcal flights! They have another location in Gastown.
