The address should be 405 Sherbrooke E, Montreal. Situated about a 15-20 min walk from my hotel (Hotel zero 1), sushi999 is worth it if you are looking for a relaxed, informal atmosphere. You will find them on the corner of Sherbrooke and Saint-Denis in...Montreal. When I arrived, the TV was on and Steve Martin's "Parenthood " was playing on TV. One of the cooks was playing "what does the fox say?" on his laptop. I didn't feel uncomfortable dining alone. It wasn't loud, and the waiters only came as needed and were quite nice. I was there in the middle of the week, though. Not how busy it would be at other times. When you first arrive and are seated, you'll notice a menu on the table as well as a spreadsheet with all the items listed. All I needed to do was check off the orders I wanted and handed it in to the waiter. He would then progressively bring out for me the items that I ordered. Simple! When I wanted more, I just needed to write up more items on a new sheet. I really enjoyed this concept for a number of reasons: * You don't feel as bad for checking off 10 items as opposed to listing them out loud. * You don't need to worry about mispronouncing items * It's not intrusive as you can just put it to the side of your table and wait for them to come back and pick it up. I mostly just read while I was there and ate. I didn't feel pressured to leave and the service was good. I intend on returning a couple of times in the next two weeks. I found the sushi to be well made and I enjoyed the general Tao chicken immensely. Also... free WiFi. I feel like this would be a very family friendly place, that it would work as a date night location and for a group. In fact, I saw all those things while there. Overall, this turned into a pretty expensive meal with tip and taxes. Roughly 33$ for one person. I should either just tip less or suck it up. lolMore
