Showed up with my son and daughter in law at 6pm on a Sunday, along with their 3 week old newborn son so I could treat the new parents for a dinner out. I’m on crutches and have a cast on my foot so we...hobbled to the entrance to be waved in by a server who told us to grab a table. We grabbed a table, and my daughter in law took the baby to the bathroom to change his diaper. Another server came by, had us fill out some paperwork for contact tracing. Then a manager came to the table, asked where the baby was and said “we have a situation.” Apparently their liquor license does not allow for minors to be in their restaurant. Including a newborn 3 week old baby. She says “you’re going to have to leave.” Then she walked away. Shocked, we packed our things and awaited our daughter in law to come back and we explained to her we’ve been asked to leave. On our way out, she smirks at us and says “sorry.” I explained how sorry we were that no one stopped us on our way in before we got settled, unpacked the baby and we were obviously struggling with myself on crutches. She shrugged her shoulders and we left. What a joke! Have a better system in place, a host or hostess or signage even to let people know that families are not welcome here! We were the ONLY customers inside by the way. I have never stepped foot in an establishment that serves food that does not allow a newborn baby on the premises. Judging by their reviews it was likely a good idea we did leave!More
