So we met up with old friends, a friend I had not seen since we graduated together!! Anyway, they had a hockey game to get to, and we had a concert to go to, we wanted something that was kind of close by and looked...like it would have good food. My husband and I had never been there, and our friends had, and said it was good, and it was not too loud. Well, okay, we were seated right away, but, they sat us at a HUGE table, there were only four of us, and they sat us at a table for 12?? We ordered our drinks, meh, not the best, but I guess you need to drink beer when you are there....which is something I don’t do. Then we ordered our food, again, meh. I ordered the chicken wings, my husband ordered pizza.....Yep, more disappointment followed, my wings were bland, and my husband’s pizza was boring! He said the crust was AMAZING!!! But, the sauce, was tasteless, and just not what you would expect, especially from a wood fired oven!! Oh and of course I have to mention, we were in the middle dinner and they started sitting complete strangers next to us!! So weird!! Yeah, maybe when we are downtown, we will find somewhere else to eat.....
