After hearing so many great things about Bramasole (and Wilf & Adas being an hour wait) I decided to finally give this place a chance. From the moment I walked in, I regretted my decision. Decor is completely outdated, which can obviously be overlooked, but...it gets worse. The cleanliness of their open kitchen was a complete fail, the staff sitting at random tables in their dirty aprons, and the waitress talking about old disgruntled employees was still just the beginning of our experience. After placing our order, the food thankfully came out pretty quick..however, oddly quick, and we soon knew why. Raw pancakes, cold bacon, stale and cold home fries, and last but not least, a lovely pubic hair in my potatoes to top it all off. As hungry as I was, there was just too much that went wrong to overlook. The manager came over, and as I explained everything that was wrong, she told us we had to still pay the bill or they were going to stick the server with the cheque. I exclaimed that I couldn’t pay for something that I genuinely couldn’t eat, and i also refused to have the server pay for the crappy kitchen and managements mistakes. Finally I was offered a meal replacement, and I asked for it to go. As we’re paying up, and patiently waiting my meal remake, a lady from the open kitchen yells across the restaurant asking me how I want things prepared. As if I was being picky in the first place. Finally, that same kitchen lady personally walks my meal over and just throws the containers on the table. Management did apologize for that, but it should have never happened in the first place. We quickly got out of there, and I am happy to say that I will never be returning again. Seems as though this place has either declined drastically, or all of their positive reviews are just fake.
