I’ve walked past this small café so many times during visits to Vancouver, I finally decided to try it for lunch. I wasn’t disappointed. When I couldn’t decide between the black bean soup and the BLT, the friendly server suggested I go for the special...— BLT with a cup of the soup! Both were delicious. I ended up taking half the sandwich back to my hotel and ate it for breakfast the following morning. I’d love to get the recipe for the black bean soup. Best ever. I ordered a latté and biscotti afterwards, but neither was as satisfying as the soup and sandwich. The latté was overpriced for a small size, and the biscotti was too thick with an un-biscotti texture. Next time, I’ll try the carrot cake, skip the latté and definitely go for the soup.
