While traveling across Canada we found this little gem in Winnipeg. My wife had deep-fried pickerel with fresh-cut fries and I had the pan-fried pickerel with a side salad. All were excellent. Pickerel is a very mildly flavored fish when fresh and this fish was...unquestionably fresh, as were the salad and potatoes. The oil used for cooking had no hint of being old or having cross contamination. We would love to have a restaurant such as this near our home. We would definitely be regulars.
