I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately with this one I have to. We arrived late for dinner – around 10.30pm which is unusual for us and already later than we wanted to be eating so the atmosphere wasn’t great. We ordered the shrimp tempura,...takoyaki, gyoza and yakisoba. The only thing we enjoyed was the tempura. For some reason the food made me feel rather queasy – my fiancée hated his yakisoba. Even after drenching it in soy he said it was tasteless. The gyoza must have wasabi or something infused into the filling – it didn’t taste like gyoza usually does and we didn’t enjoy it. The takoyaki was a mistake but to be fair; this is the first time I had tried it and maybe it wasn’t quite my thing. Overall (I feel bad saying this) the meal left us both unsatisfied yet feeling a bit unwell. We did not have any sushi – maybe this is where the place excels?More
