I visit the Bon Cafe regularly and am always pleased with their broth.
I visit the Bon Cafe regularly and am always pleased with their broth. It is a labour of love and you can taste it. It is balanced with a strong anise flavour- a favorite of mine in Vietnamese cooking. My favorite dishes (in no particular...order) : Rare beef pho, chicken bánh mi, and Satay chicken and rice noodle in soup. The Satay soup is especially nice with a hint of spice and not too fishy tasting as some Vietnamese satay’s can be.
