My son and family was visiting from London England. We went to Denny’s for brunch, four adults, two grandchildren, a 15 yr old and a 6 yr. Our first impression as soon as we walked through the door was how dirty the entrance was. We...all commented was that someone needs to get a broom out. We was shown to a dirty booth. When the hostess came to clean the table she only cleaned half way up the table and wiped it dry with a napkin which left more debris and struggled to clean it all off. We was given our menus and my granddaughter was given a children’s menu. When the waitress came to our table to take our order she was very laid back and seemed that she really didn’t want to be at work that day. She seemed like she just couldn’t be bothered and was rudely bored with the whole situation. We all placed our orders and the waitress read it all back she said is that right very bluntly. We waited about 10 minutes for our drinks and when she brought them she was quite rude about not getting my granddaughters milkshake order right. When our order eventually arrived mine and my sons wife’s poached eggs were just about cooked. The hollandaise sauce was the colour of mustard and was disgusting. My granddaughters sausages were barely cooked. All of our meals looked like they have been thrown on the plate. My husband had to remind the waitress that he had ordered toast which was eventually served after he had stopped eating his food. The whole brunch was disgusting. The restaurant is disgusting. And the waitress was rude and has no customer service skills what so ever. We would never go to this Denny’s restaurant againMore
